About the role

Weekend Merchandise Controller shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:45am - 7:15pm.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison and problem solver between Distribution Center (DC) Operations & Corporate Merchandising Departments.
• Communicate information regarding product inflowing to the Distribution Center to internal DC Merchandise Control Management and Corporate Home Office Management Associates.
• Oversee the production of priority merchandise with specific store delivery timelines to ensure the right product gets to the right location at the right time in accordance with HO communication and deadlines.
• Monitor and audit internal computer system (SCAN) to ensure product information is logged accurately.
• Send samples and pictures of product to Home Office Corporate planning teams.
• Manage the merchandise return to vendor process.
• Maintain all necessary files for the Merchandising Department.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Must be comfortable working any shift schedules the DC operates.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of merchandising experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software with a focus on Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to be flexible and adjust to priority updates.
• Apparel retail management experience is a major plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Merchandising or Business/Management or equivalent experience.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of $20.35 to $27.45 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
