About the role

We are seeking a Merchandise Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and executing merchandise strategies to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandise plans that align with overall business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans as necessary to maintain optimal stock
• Stay current with industry trends and consumer preferences to inform merchandising decisions
• Manage relationships with suppliers to secure quality products at competitive prices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandise planning and execution
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or related industries
• Knowledge of retail merchandising principles and best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
