At Willow Tree Adult Crisis Stabilization, we provide short-term, person-centered mental health services that help individuals regain stability, build coping skills, and reconnect with their communities. Responsibilities

Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker

  • Welcome and orient recipients to the program while completing admissions and required documentation.
  • Teach coping, crisis management, and independent living skills through individual and group interventions.
  • Implement treatment plan interventions under the direction of the Mental Health Practitioner.
  • Support recipients with medication observation, appointments, community resources, and crisis planning.
  • Complete accurate documentation and help maintain a safe, supportive, recovery-focused environment.
  • Collaborate with recipients, families, and the treatment team to promote successful outcomes.

Mental Health Practitioner

  • Complete assessments, admissions, and clinical documentation.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide individual skills training and support recipients in developing crisis management strategies.
  • Coordinate care with recipients, families, case managers, and community providers.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation while maintaining a safe, person-centered treatment environment.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and contribute to a collaborative team focused on recovery and continuous improvement.

Minimum Education Required

Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker

  • At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Meets Minnesota Department of Human Services qualifications for a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker.

Mental Health Practitioner

Must meet Minnesota qualifications for a Mental Health Practitioner by meeting one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field and at least 2,000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with a mental illness or substance use disorder.
  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field and completion of an internship or practicum involving direct client interaction.
  • At least 4,000 hours of experience providing services to adults or children with a mental illness or substance use disorder.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with adults experiencing serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), co-occurring disorders, or crisis services.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
  • A compassionate, recovery-oriented approach and a passion for helping others.
