What You'll Do

• Lead games, trivia, and brain activities
• Host music, dancing, and sing-alongs
• Create fun arts and crafts projects
• Lead gentle exercise and movement activities
• Bake or cook with residents
• Host parties, celebrations, and themed events
• Enjoy outdoor activities and walks
• Create sensory and reminiscing activities
• Provide meaningful one-on-one engagement
• Get to know residents' interests, stories, and favorite things
• Bring your own creative ideas to make weekends FUN!

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with heart, patience, personality, and positive energy who already understands the senior living environment.
• Memory Care experience is strongly preferred
• Must be available to work weekends
• Experience working with seniors and understanding their unique needs
• Fun, friendly, patient, and outgoing personality
• Dependable and reliable
• Comfortable leading group activities and providing one-on-one engagement
• Creative, energetic, and willing to bring new ideas
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Comfortable working with residents living with dementia and memory loss
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, including tables and chairs
• Able to obtain/maintain a Food Handler's Permit
