Weekend Member Service Representative
About the role
The WEEKEND MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and staff at the new club opening. This role is part of the Undefeated Tribe, which is a fast-growing franchise group expanding across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Distribute marketing materials within a 5 to 8 mile radius of the club to build excitement and awareness of the new Crunch gym opening.
- Drive business to business to distribute marketing materials, have conversations with prospective members and business owners about all Crunch has to offer, and develop relationships and partnerships in the community.
- Develop community partnerships with local businesses to set up cross-promotions, on-site events, and drive brand awareness.
- Identify potential leads and sign-up new members both in the pre-opening membership office and in the field through guerilla marketing tactics.
- Participate in daily pre-opening activity planning and events.
- Greets all members & guests with a smile and enthusiasm, including consistently demonstrating the dials of member engagement as part of the Crunch SLA process.
- Absolutely assist with membership, retail and tanning product sales.
- Promote membership privileges including tanning, group fitness, small group training, and childcare.
- Deliver on new member enrollment expectations, including guest conversion, Peaks %, ACH %, and CrunchOne Kickoff standards.
- Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures, to include resolving any member check-in with an alert.
- Answer phones in a courteous, helpful, professional manner.
- Communicate special events to members and guests.
- Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
- Maintain a professional and courteous disposition.
- Be an expert in all club facility, services, programs, and schedules/hours of operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- May be asked to clean beyond shift duties to support a clean, crisp, grand-opening ready facility.
- Perform opening and closing checklist and duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-oriented position and/or sales preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional attitude.
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Active driver’s license and insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong social media presence on multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $12-14/hour + Commission (Tx & Ok)
