Weekend Inbound Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspection of wheel seals, lights, tire wear, air leaks, and visual inspection of air lines.
• Brake pad and brake adjustment, slack adjuster checks, and any damage to equipment.
• Fueling trucks and trailers with diesel fuel.
• Fueling trucks with DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid).
• Documentation and reporting of any damage and/or repairs necessary.
• Communication and direction to the fleet regarding the parking of equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment and transportation.
• Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities.
• Attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and high-pressure environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• At least 18 years of age due to equipment requirements.

• Customer service orientation.
• Quick, efficient, and accurate performance of duties.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
• Pass a verification of employment, background check*, and drug screen (hair follicle).

Pay and Schedule

• $18 to $21+/hour, depending on experience.
• $1,000 sign-on bonus*
