Weekend Host

About the role

We are looking for a Weekend Host to join our team at our Chapel Hill, NC location. This part-time position runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, reporting to the Store Manager. Potential opportunities for weekday server and barista shifts may become available for those seeking more hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver impeccable hospitality to guests and teammates
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items
• Manage wait times effectively
• Prepare beverages as needed
• Follow procedures and guidelines to support smooth café operations
• Maintain a clean, functional workspace by performing tasks such as washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and organizing the condiment station, and taking out trash

Qualifications

• Hospitality-driven with a passion for serving others
• Motivated, diligent, and open-minded
• Comfortable following directions and problem-solving as needed
• Reliable, consistent, and punctual—teammates and managers can depend on you
• Must have Saturday and Sunday availability
• Must have reliable means of transportation
