Weekend CNA - Part-Time

About the role

Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services on weekends. The role involves providing direct patient care in clients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, mouth care)
• Transfers, repositioning, and ambulation support
• Basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
• Meal preparation considering dietary needs
• Companionship and engagement activities
• Light housekeeping tasks
• Record keeping and reporting changes in patient condition
• Adhering to the care plan and completing tasks via EVV app or time sheets
• Ensuring patient confidentiality and safety, reporting concerns or abuse immediately

Qualifications and skills

• Maintaining valid certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand
• Compassionate attitude towards patient care

The position demands dependability, adaptability to client needs, and teamwork to ensure quality care. The CNA will utilize equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes, and travel within the designated area is required. This role does not guarantee a set number of hours or length of assignment.
