Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support for seniors living at home
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Provide medication reminders, document clients' conditions, and report any concerns to a supervisor
- Ensure a safe home environment by maintaining unobstructed pathways
- Engage clients in activities that bring them joy such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- CPR certification
- Valid Missouri driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation
- Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
