About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Work every Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM, earning 40 hours of pay for 32 hours worked.

This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment and reports to the Director of Nursing/Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
