About the role
A Digital Marketing company is looking for an experienced Website Developer.
Responsibilities
- Converting PSD to running WP templates/themes
- Integrating plugins on WP themes
- Creating unique WP themes
- Troubleshooting bugs from jscripts, plugins and co browser issues
- Building WordPress plugin(s)
Requirements
- Expert WordPress developer with experience in building custom functionality and applications to extend WordPress core capabilities.
- Solid experience in web site development using HTML 4 & 5, JavaScript, CSS3, Flash/ActionScript, and building mobile ready Responsive sites.
- Solid experience with all of the following: PHP, XML, Java Server Pages and Java.
- Designing cross-browser compatible sites (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc).
- Experience with code optimization and performance tuning.
- Passion for quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines, and adaptable to requirement changes.
- Experience in creating mock-ups using graphics creation tools like Adobe Creative Suite and converting those mock-ups using best practices standards based on HTML4/5, CSS3 and Javascript frameworks (like jQuery) is a plus.
