What We Offer

This is a contract position, roughly 40 hours per week. Pay range is $60 to $70 per hour.

About the role

You’ll be the go-to web-savvy storyteller taking dense medical and academic content and transforming it into clear, engaging experiences that make sense to real people. You’ll be a key player on a massive enterprise website transformation, helping to migrate nearly 10,000 pages of content, launch new microsites, and partner with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Transform complex information into engaging, audience-first content
• Work with editors, designers, developers, and stakeholders
• Support large-scale website redesigns, content migrations, and enterprise-level content operations
• Tailor messaging for diverse audiences, including prospective students, patients, researchers, faculty, and the general public
• Manage projects through tools like Jira, Asana, Monday, Microsoft Lists, or similar ticketing systems

Requirements

• 5+ years writing and editing for the web
• Deep knowledge of SEO, GEO/AEO, accessibility, UX writing, and digital content best practices
• Experience working in a CMS (Drupal is a plus)
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, camera-on environment
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AI-assisted content workflows
• Familiarity with accessibility standards
• Healthcare, medical, or higher education writing experience
