Content Writer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced content writer who can systematically attract ideal clients through articles, lead attractors, and video content. You must have experience writing winning content that builds large audiences. Flexibility is key as you will produce various types of content. The right person lets their work do the talking.

What You'll Be Doing

• Write special reports, blog posts, and help design infographics that build to a call to action
• Interview clients to derive the necessary knowledge to write and implement their content strategy
• Conduct search engine keyword research to help develop monthly editorial calendars
• Write video scripts and help design PowerPoint presentations
• Write press releases
• Reword and rework transcriptions from interviews
• Work with the multimedia team to develop and edit video
• Assist in preparing presentations for webinars, podcasts, and seminars
• Use social media and content syndication tools

Additional Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of internet marketing, tracking, conversions, sales funnels, sales copy, upsells, etc.
• Intermediate knowledge of tools including WordPress, Optimize Press, and Infusionsoft
• Intermediate knowledge of ad creation, ad placement, and ad management (banners, PPC, solo ads, etc.)

Optional Skills (Not Required, But a Plus)

• Basic HTML / coding ability
• Photoshop
• A great eye for design

Compensation

Work is assigned on a per project basis initially. As soon as part-time or full-time work becomes available, you will be among the first contacted. Rates average $25 per hour starting out. If you are starting with fewer skills and learning as you go, compensation will be lower. The right person will also deeply value the learning experience.
