About the role

As a Web Solutions Engineer on the YouTube Business Technology team, you will manage solutions that enhance the efficiency of the broader YouTube organization. Your work will directly impact support communities, improving user loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and improve full-stack web applications using standard and Google-specific tools.
• Analyze problems and develop solutions, addressing dependencies and resolving issues.
• Contribute technically by writing and reviewing design documents, tests, and code (JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and devise innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
• Experience with front-end languages (JavaScript or TypeScript).
• Experience with backend languages (Java, Python, or C++).
• Experience working with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
• Experience with frontend languages (JavaScript or TypeScript).
• Experience with backend languages (Java, Python, or C++).
• Experience working with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).

Skills

• Strong understanding of software development best practices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, and SQL.

Benefits

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $128,000 - $184,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
