Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop ad campaign manager workflows for TV Native ad products.
- Contribute to design, architecture, building, deploying, and maintaining multiple ad campaign manager components (React, JavaScript, Ruby) for ad creatives management.
- Perform hands-on development and focus on software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Work with experienced, passionate programmers as part of the full-stack team within a broader engineering organization with a strong technical culture.
- Write efficient, clean, readable, fast, testable, documented code.
- Quickly prototype and develop consumer-facing services that will be displayed on millions of devices.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (Product Managers, UX designers) and other Software Engineers to deliver a compelling, easy-to-use product for the end consumers.
- Collaborate with peers and leaders across various Samsung Ad sites, driving cross-site efforts to improve platform capabilities.
- Effectively communicate ideas to peers and distributed teams.
- Contribute towards building a system with a test-driven development / Agile approach.
- Demonstrate engineering best practices, enforce code review guidelines, and support the team through the product lifecycle.
- Drive quality by reviewing code by peers and spreading your expertise to the team, emphasizing unit testing.
- Work with geographically distributed teams.
- Work on Technical Proposals to improve the software design and architecture.
Skills And Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related engineering/developer related job titles.
- At least 2 years of experience in the following: (1) Front end engineering in ad technology or related industry; (2) Using JavaScript and React to build UI workflows for information gathering regarding advertising creatives; (3) version control systems Git and front-end build tools including webpack and npm; (4) performance optimization, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility; (5) Astro, Node.JS, and React; (6) HTML, CSS and JavaScript; and (7) AWS / Kubernetes.
