Web Developer

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and improve ecommerce websites and business applications
• Build and modify web pages using CMS platforms and web technologies
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across various applications and tech stacks
• E-Commerce and Operational Support
• Create and manage product listings across multiple sales channels
• Update website content, sales and promotions, and inventory data
• Auxiliary in administrative processes and customer support

Required Qualifications

• Handson experience (academic or professional) developing software applications
• Working knowledge of: Web hosting and DNS, Clientserver communication protocols, Modern web application architecture (frontend, backend, APIs), Version control with Git, Basic proficiency with Linux and command line usage, Programming experience with any/all of the following or similar: Compiled languages (C#, Go), JavaScript frameworks (React, Svelte, Angular), Scripting languages (PHP, Python)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of or interest in firearms or the firearms industry
• Familiarity with business operations and process improvement strategies
• Experience managing relational DBMSs such as MySQL/MariaDB
• Experience implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment strategies
• Experience with or willingness to learn: Modern ecommerce systems (BigCommerce, Shopify and WooCommerce), Best practices in UI/UX, security, responsive design, and software development, Best practices in search engine optimization
