Weaver Operator -2nd Shift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Starts looms
• Repairs yarn breaks
• Inspects looms for defects
• Cycles warp alleys
• Changes yarn bobbins
• Makes sure bobbin has an identification label
• Removes non-conforming yarn
• Uses reject bobbin sticker
• Maintains open communication with other weavers, management, and technical team

Job Requirements

• 0-3 years’ experience
• Good working knowledge of computer skills
• Weaver candidate must pass a weaver end draw and splice test

Qualifications

• JPS Composite Materials (JPS, www.jpscm.com)
• Manufacturer of high-performance fabrics for aerospace, military, commercial, and industrial markets
• Over 60 years of experience in markets including commercial aircraft interiors, radomes, ballistic applications, and electronic applications
• Headquarters in Anderson, SC with manufacturing facilities in North and South Carolina
