Responsibilities
Performs operational activities and manages day-to-day processing of securities, annuities, and insurance trades under the direction of the Operations Manager.
Works closely with Wealth Advisors, Wealth Assistants, Wealth Advisory Division (WAD)-Call Center, and Compliance.
Takes the lead on complex accounts/projects and develops detailed reports for the FHA Management team.
Provides guidance to personnel in the functional area.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business administration, finance, related field, or equivalent work experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field preferred
- Experience in investments and/or insurance industry preferred
- Three (3) years of experience in office administration in wealth management, broker dealer, financial services, insurance, or related industry required
- Ability to analyze complex account activity, research issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to handle complex and escalated issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, advisors, management, compliance, and other stakeholders
- Proven ability to provide guidance, training, and operational support to advisors, support staff, and internal business partners
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills with a commitment to responsive and professional support
- Excellent organizational, planning, and workflow management skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage operational functions, prioritize competing deadlines, and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience creating, maintaining, and analyzing operational reports, metrics, and management reporting dashboards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, including reporting, data analysis, and document management
