Wealth Management Trust Specialist

About the role

The Trust Concierge Team at U.S. Bank provides high-quality customer service by handling telephone inquiries, requests, and issues for an affluent client base where the bank acts as trustee, agent, or custodian. This position serves as the initial point of contact for clients serviced by an administrative team and handles tasks such as Medallion Signature Guarantee and wire callback services to prevent fraud and ensure wire accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone inquiries and requests from clients
• Resolve problems and errors related to client accounts
• Process routine customer service requests
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and monitor risks within designated authority levels
• Perform Medallion Signature Guarantee and wire callback services

Requirements

• A minimum of two to five years of experience in client/customer service and fiduciary activities
• A thorough understanding of personal trust administration, fiduciary regulations, and trust services
• A strong foundation in systems and procedures, as well as operations areas and responsibilities
• Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, along with the ability to handle various types of customer calls
• A proven commitment to high-quality customer service
• Effective time management skills to manage multiple clients efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Qualifications

• A college degree or equivalent work experience
• Thorough knowledge of fiduciary services and compliance/regulatory reporting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle difficult customer calls
