About the role

Wealth Management Advisors at TIAA are supported by a robust array of resources and solutions. Their primary focus is on deepening relationships with an established client base and growing their practice through referrals, delivering financial solutions that inspire clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze clients' financial goals and develop tailored recommendations.
  • Communicate complex financial solutions to clients using interpersonal skills and relationship-building techniques.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with affluent clients.
  • Manage time and resources efficiently to provide high-quality financial advice.
  • Stay motivated by finding innovative solutions and maintaining a strong work ethic.
  • Operate in an empowering and accountable environment, learning from mistakes and applying lessons to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Obtain necessary licenses within 120 days of starting the position.
  • Hold a university degree (preferred).
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in roles with personal accountability and managing a book of business or equivalent experience.
  • Have a FINRA registration including Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, and Series 66.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Pay

Base pay range: $100,000/yr - $110,000/yr. Actual base salary may vary based on experience, performance, and other factors. Additional incentives may be available.
