About the Role

The Wealth Advisor is the backbone of our practice, ensuring every aspect of the client experience exceeds expectations. This role focuses on building and deepening client relationships, providing high-level advisory services, and skillfully navigating complex or emotional conversations with a solutions-focused approach. You will handle our largest, most demanding clients while demonstrating strong leadership and business development skills.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply bucketing, investment, and tax strategies.
  • Demonstrate exceptional active listening and provide client education during Discovery and Clarification meetings.
  • Attract new clients to the firm and proactively collaborate with team members across offices.
  • Deliver excellent client service independently and efficiently, including preparing for and leading client meetings.
  • Delegate service items and communicate next steps to the service team to ensure client needs are met.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CRM and financial planning software, and adaptability to new technology.
  • Navigate hard or emotional client conversations with empathy and relatability.
  • Prioritize clients’ “Top of Mind” items and address complex situations with determination to do what’s best for the client.
  • Actively source new opportunities, leverage existing client relationships, and develop or sustain a COI (Centers of Influence) network.
  • Create and execute a business development plan, engaging communities to expand our reach.
  • Mentor Associate Wealth Advisors, Client Service Associates, and other team members.
  • Teach and present the firm’s Core Values and Core Focus in any setting with ease.
  • Stay current with financial planning news, maintain professional continuing education, and demonstrate mastery in technology and financial planning.
  • Adhere to compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Majority of work time spent in-office.
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history.
  • Computer literacy and aptitude for learning new programs and processes.
  • Knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with financial industry programs (Salesforce, Orion, eMoney, MoneyGuide) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Extraordinary client service orientation and genuine interest in serving others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to be present and punctual for client meetings.
  • Self-motivation, desire for growth, and ability to take direction while supporting the team.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of investment advisory experience.
  • CFP or CFA preferred.
  • Active Series 65 or 66 license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred.

Pay

Total Cash Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $150,000+, based on factors including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The role also features an extremely competitive incentive and wealth advisor compensation structure.
