About the role

The role of a Wealth Advisor at California Bank & Trust involves building and nurturing robust relationships with clients, delivering an exceptional client experience, evaluating and educating, developing tailored solutions, and implementing investment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build wealth management relationships through actively cultivating and nurturing relationships with each member of the banking team.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Evaluate and educate clients on tailored solutions and investment strategies.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies to meet the needs of the bank's clients.
  • Focus on financial planning, investment management, insurance, trust services, making presentations, partnering with internal banking professionals, and coordinating with wealth management team members to deliver the right solution for the clients.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience, 10+ years preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements.
  • Required licensing: FINRA Series 7 & 66 (65/63), life and health insurance.
  • A CFP® certification is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and presentation skills.
  • Experience with financial planning software preferred with the ability to analyze and present complex financial modeling.
  • A track record of building and managing high net worth client relationships, with a proven history of successfully exceeding sales targets.
  • A process of understanding financial planning.

Qualifications

  • Eligible to earn a base salary of $75,000-$125,000 depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location, plus participation in the commission plan that will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
