Responsibilities

  • Plan for each shift and monitor performance
  • Take action to ensure team meets company and McDonald’s standards
  • Maintain safety, security, and profitability
  • Communicate with next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
  • Meet targets during their shift and help assigned Departments meet their goals

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
  • Positive team player with a flexible schedule
  • Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager

Qualifications

Shift Managers lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Skills

Essential skills include Food Safety, Internal Communication, Inventory Management, Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness, Managing Crew, Quality Food Production, Exceptional Customer Service, Safety and Security, and Scheduling.
