Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and support the maintenance team by planning, scheduling, assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and coaching team performance
  • Execute and maintain the maintenance plan, ensuring effective preventive and corrective maintenance delivery
  • Cookordinate with Operations to perform maintenance activities that minimize equipment downtime
  • Promote and enforce 5S standards and continuous improvement within maintenance
  • Provide internal system and equipment training to maintenance personnel
  • Monitor, track, and report maintenance-related KPIs, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
  • Escalate operational, technical, and safety issues to appropriate levels as required
  • Provide operational maintenance support as needed to ensure system reliability
  • Conduct root cause analysis for electrical, mechanical, and technical failures, including recurring and single-point-of-failure issues
  • Perform system inspections and diagnostics using monitoring tools for unplanned maintenance needs
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and PLC fault finding, diagnosis, recovery, and resolution
  • Analyze failure data and system information to improve inspection methods, components, and maintenance processes

Requirements

  • Trade qualification as a Millwright or Industrial Electrician, obtained through a recognized apprenticeship, certification, or state licensing program
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead, direct, and support maintenance teams across day, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Demonstrated experience planning, scheduling, and directing maintenance workloads
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes, preventive maintenance strategies, asset management, and maintenance KPIs
  • Proven experience coordinating maintenance activities, managing escalations, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including electrical and mechanical root cause analysis
  • Technical competence to provide internal system and equipment training
  • Experience providing hands-on electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance of industrial production equipment
  • Understanding of automated systems and inventory management
  • Familiarity with automated material handling equipment (preferred) and PLC logic (preferred)
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, wiring diagrams, and electrical symbols
  • Competence using system diagnostic, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools
  • Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and general PC applications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and escalation management skills
