Position Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive environment and providing high-quality care to our students, reinforcing social emotional skills, supporting student needs and behaviors, and communicating with site leadership on student progress.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary education in child development, early childhood, or equivalent preferred
• Experience working with school-aged children with special needs in a childcare or education setting is highly preferred
• Has a passion for working with young children and excellent knowledge of child development
• The physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodation
• Able to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, staff, and caregivers
• Must successfully meet our pre-employment background screening requirements
