Hours: 4.0 hours/day (Approximate start and end time: 9:30am - 1:30pm)
Starting wage: $24.18/hour

Join our team of School Nutrition Professionals who are dedicated to plan, prepare, and serve delicious meals that nourish our students' bodies and minds and give them a sense of belonging. Responsibilities

• Order and shelve stock goods and food items
• Complete get-ready and sanitizing procedures
• Assemble portions, bag lunches, and special items
• Set up the serving line
• Clean up and re-set
• Record keeping and cashiering as scheduled
• Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of applicable department and District policies and procedures
• Confer with the immediate supervisor or in-charge individual to ensure understanding of work priorities
• Develop and maintain cooperative, productive workplace relationships
• Perform additional duties related to the preparation, serving, and clean up of planned meals for school and/or community special events
• Attend designated in-service or out-of-District training classes and workshops
• Keep immediate supervisor informed of important matters to minimize downtime or safety problems
• Perform other kindred job duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience desired
• Basic math and computational skills are required

Skills

• Ability to communicate directions, ideas, and concepts
• Ability to perform computer entry and use of institutional food service equipment

Requirements

All new food service employees must pass a pre-placement physical that is arranged through the district.

$24.18/hour
