Responsibilities
- Implement customer service standards for all internal and external clients.
- Maintain a clean and professional environment.
- Provide efficient, effective, and high-quality service provision following all defined waxing service standards.
- Support and protect Waxing the City’s culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned in the spirit of teamwork.
- Follow safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions.
Requirements
- Current State Licensure (Esthetician, Cosmetologist)
- A passion for waxing and the beauty industry
- Time Management Skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Flexible and adaptable individual who embraces being a part of a team.
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Self-Motivated
Qualifications
- Will be working either Saturday or Sunday-this will rotate based on needs
- Will work some holidays
- Hourly plus commission & tips
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and maintain various working positions while providing services.
- Ability to work in close proximity to clients and perform detailed personal care services.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maintain focus and manual dexterity throughout appointments.
