Wax Specialist (Licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician)
About the role
The role of Wax Specialist at European Wax Center (EWC) UPMA Group requires a current Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your career through the Technical Path or Leadership Path, with guaranteed base pay plus tips and uncapped commission and bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality waxing services for men and women using EWC's proprietary techniques.
- Master full-body waxing expertise and educate guests on the frequency of waxing and recommended products.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked wax suite in compliance with all Texas (TDLR) safety and health procedures.
- Work flexible hours, including at least one full weekend day per week.
Requirements
To apply, you must have a current Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license. You should be comfortable performing all face and body waxing services for both male and female guests, and be coachable and eager to learn new techniques through world-class training.
Qualifications
While full-body waxing for all guests is required, performing Brazilian services for male guests is optional and involves specialized advanced training.
