Wax Specialist (Licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician)
About the role
The role of a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center (EWC) UPMA Group involves providing expert waxing services for men and women. This includes performing full-body waxing services using EWC's proprietary comfort wax, educating guests on waxing frequency and recommending EWC's proprietary products, and maintaining a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked wax suite.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality waxing services for men and women following EWC’s proprietary techniques.
- Work flexible hours, including at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week.
- Use your knowledge to educate guests on the frequency of waxing and recommend EWC’s proprietary products to maintain their results at home.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked wax suite in compliance with all Texas (TDLR) safety and health procedures.
- Be comfortable and confident performing full-body waxing services for both male and female guests.
Requirements
An active Esthetician or Cosmetologist license in the state of Texas is strictly required. If you are not licensed yet, you can join the UPMA family as a Sales & Guest Experience Associate to master the culture and guest experience while you finish your hours. Once you have your license, you'll be fast-tracked into the Hub training program.
Qualifications
You are open and comfortable performing all face and body waxing services for both male and female guests. You are coachable and eager to master new techniques through our world-class training.

Schedule
Dynamic Scheduling: This role requires flexibility to meet our guests' needs. You will work a variety of shifts and are required to work at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week.
