Wax Injector 1st Shift

Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Wax Injector is accountable for meeting cell production needs, ensuring quality patterns, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Shoot dies to meet production requirements
• Ensure quality of the patterns produced
• Show the supervisor the first pattern shot on each setup
• Set and manage machine parameters
• Retrieve and set up tooling from shelves on the machine
• Read the Quality Book and P.M.S. sheets for each job
• Ensure tooling is stored with a storage bolt or bolts; create storage holes if none exist
• Maintain cleanliness of the machine and tooling

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Previous injection molding machine experience (Preferred)
• Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a cell team
• Willingness to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) and follow safety precautions
• Capable of light to moderate physical activity, including walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods
