About the role

WAVY-TV 10/ WVBT FOX43 is seeking a Streaming Content Production Intern to gain hands‑on experience in Connected TV show production, assisting show teams with pre‑ and post‑production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist multiple show teams with pre‑show production, including field shoots and studio shoots.
• Assist with post‑show editing for social media content.
• Perform studio setup and breakdown for shows and production spaces.
• Receive training to assist producers in “punching” shows.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a college degree‑granting program.
• Must provide proof of enrollment in an internship course through that program.
• Completion of communications and TV‑production‑related coursework.
• Understanding of journalistic integrity.
• Passion for how emerging CTV technology integrates.

Qualifications

• Interest in all things CTV.
• Willingness to learn the inner workings of a local station/newsroom and how departments support each other.

Skills

• Working knowledge of video editing software; Adobe Creative Suite preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with newswriting/production software.
• Experience with OBS or VMix is a plus.

Benefits

• Academic credit (for‑credit) for the Spring 2027 semester.

Pay

Unpaid (for‑credit) position.

Schedule

12‑15 hours per week on site; schedule varies Monday‑Friday with possible weekend shifts, arranged with supervisor.
