WAU Student - Game Staff - 2026-2027

About the role

Provides game day support.

Responsibilities

• Admissions: Welcome guests during game time, receive monies for admissions, allow entry to visitors on Team Guestlist, assist with set up before the game and clean up after the game, clean up, make sure no one sits in a position that their legs hang off stage.
• Social Media/Website: Assist with photography & videography, assist with editing photos & videos, assist with data entry for Security / Door, ensures that guest/visitors do not walk on the court, behind the basketball hoops, sit with legs hanging off the stage, jump off the stage, or hang around the entrance doors/stairwell.
• Concessions: Sells snacks to visitors according to the provided price list, set up before the game and takedown after the game, clean up, make sure no one sits in a position where their legs hang off the stage.
• Ball Person: Responsible for making sure a game stays in play at all times, retrieve balls from out of play area’s which may include going over the fence or into the street, set up before the game and takedown after the game, clean up, make sure no one sits in a position where their legs hang off the stage.
• Operations: Great visiting team and unlock the Team Room door for them, greet referees and unlock the specified room for them, set up before the game and takedown after the game, pull out bleachers, set up tables and chairs for admissions and concessions, clean up after the game, make sure no one sits in a position where their legs hang off the stage.

Qualifications

• You must be registered as a full-time student at Washington Adventist University.
• The worker must be able to lift 40 lbs.
