Student applicants must register by creating a profile on EdJoin.org and submitting their application.
Requirements
- Work Permit: All students under 18 years of age must have a work permit or they cannot be processed. Transition students over 18 years do not need a work permit but are processed as student workers until their 23rd birthday.
- I-9 form with appropriate documents (copies) attached. If documents are not included, the student cannot be processed. Typical documents include Student ID and Social Security Card.
- W-4 tax form filled out and signed.
- EDD California tax form filled out and signed.
- Emergency Information form filled out and signed.
- Oath form, TB test, and fingerprints are not required for student workers.
- Student workers must be from one of the following schools: Transition, Richmond High, Pinole Valley High, DeAnza High, or El Cerrito High. All documents/materials must be collected by the hiring site and delivered or forwarded to Human Resources (attention Maria Vazquez) for processing.
