Student Tutor - 2026-2027

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet with students in a one-on-one, group tutoring, or online tutoring setting
• Maintain confidentiality
• Participate in trainings as required
• Provide students with positive and constructive feedback

Qualifications

• To work as a tutor in fall or spring semesters, students must be enrolled in three units or more at CMC (not on a waiting list.)
• To be eligible to work during the winter break, students must meet the eligibility requirements for the following spring semester.
• All student employees must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA for continued employment; tutors must have a 3.0 GPA in the subject area(s) of expertise.

• To start the process, fill out the application and include your unofficial transcripts and class schedule.
• You will have to reapply every year as the application packets will be archived.
