About the role

Watermark Baton Rouge, located in beautiful downtown, is seeking a part-time Bell Person with open availability, reporting to the Front Office Manager. This role focuses on providing attentive, courteous, and efficient luggage assistance to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.

Responsibilities

• Escort hotel guests to rooms and assist with luggage to and from guestrooms.
• Transport hotel guests to the Baton Rouge Metropolitan airport and other venues in the immediate area.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming while working.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Be attentive, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
• Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow employees and other hotel departments.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation in a timely manner.
• Provide information about available services, facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Watermark Baton Rouge is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection and boasts a historic, classic design inside and out.
