WATERMARK BR BARTENDER (PT)
About the role
Watermark BR, located in downtown Baton Rouge, is seeking a part-time bartender to assist the Outlet Supervisor and/or Outlet Manager. Key responsibilities include setting up the bar area, mixing drinks for guests and servers, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Follow all state liquor laws.
- Assist in maintaining beverage costs.
- Service liquor with care to avoid intoxicated guests, reporting to management when necessary.
- Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed.
- Stock and clean glassware.
- Check soda tanks and prepare all garnishes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in a hotel or related field. Experience in fine dining is helpful.
Qualifications
Essential functions include:
- Fulfillment of state liquor laws.
- Maintenance of beverage costs.
- Proper handling of liquor to prevent intoxicated guests.
- Completion of beverage requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
- Cleaning and restocking of glassware.
- Regular inspection and maintenance of soda tanks.
- Preparation of all garnishes.
Skills
Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are required.
