Responsibilities
- Responsible for exceeding the customer expectations at the bar by providing them with friendly, prompt, and attentive service, that is guided by each guest’s preference and cues.
- Will efficiently craft every drink to perfection with proper safety, tools and recipe standards, while serving customers responsibly.
- Must have an extensive knowledge of our food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell.
- Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
- Provides expertise and support to Servers on beverage selections and offerings.
- Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Able to work in hot and cold environments.
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
- Able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
- Able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
