Waterjet Operator - 1st and 2nd Shift
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the operation of CNC equipment, including waterjet and milling machines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load materials
- Use a computer to select and run appropriate programs
- Monitor CNC machine operation
- Read and understand verbal and written work orders
- Follow detailed instructions
- Communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor
- Follow safety requirements
- Perform 5S Requirements for work area
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor
- Promote a positive team environment
- Be dependable
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Hand/finger dexterity
- Visual acuity
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull heavy materials - 50 LBS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Forklift experience preferred
- Prefer machine shop skills and general computer familiarity
- Preference given to those with 3-Axis and 5-Axis CNC machinist experience
