About the Role

Set up, operate, and oversee automated processes to print mat products at a leading global flooring manufacturer with vertically integrated operations and industry-leading innovation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and oversee automated processes to print mat products.
• Perform all activities related to the effective startup, continuous operation, and shut down of automatic machines using operational software.
• Perform frequent visual and manual inspections to ensure proper operational functioning.
• Troubleshoot various machine malfunctions to expedite problem resolution and maintain production levels.
• Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure products meet specifications, prevent or detect jams or malfunctions, and adjust as necessary.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Record stops in production and explanations for stops to report back to supervisor and technical experts for efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Lift 30-40 lbs throughout the duration of the shift.

Requirements

• Required ability to comprehend written and verbal communication in English.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture of goods.

• Operation Monitoring: Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure machines are working properly.
