About the role

The role involves managing and enhancing the Services provided by NEOGOV, including but not limited to Governmentjobs.com, NEOED.com, and PowerDMS.com. Responsibilities include improving user experience, analyzing data trends, and ensuring security measures are in place.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the Services provided by NEOGOV, including but not limited to Governmentjobs.com, NEOED.com, and PowerDMS.com.
• Analyze data trends to inform product development and improve user experience.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection laws and regulations.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect user data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management systems.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or another programming language.
• Experience with front-end and back-end development.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Skills

• Strong understanding of web security best practices.
• Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Knowledge of ethical hacking principles and techniques.
• Experience with penetration testing tools.
• Understanding of data encryption standards and practices.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position with standard Monday through Friday workweek.
