About the Role

In this role, you will support the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities serving municipal clients. This position provides hands-on exposure to treatment processes and facility design while building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.
What You'll Do
- Supporting the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projects
- Aiding in treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizing
- Preparing technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documents
- Assisting with the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers
- Serving as a key member of the project team
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience
- Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Design experience on water or wastewater projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project
Preferred Qualifications (not Required)
- Exposure to water and/or wastewater treatment facilities
- Familiarity with treatment processes such as filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, or solids handling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and client service
