Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentor for junior engineers within the Wastewater Practice to empower the team.

Perform a variety of team roles within project delivery (project management, QA/QC, and performing) as they relate to wastewater.

Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed to provide extreme client services to build lasting relationships.

Grow market and technical presence within the region through working with the AE2S team to prioritize client pursuits, build client relationships, provide client management, identify opportunities, and support competitive proposal pursuits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 15+ years consulting experience in wastewater treatment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
  • Ability to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team members
  • Prior project management experience

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Proven client relationships
  • Knowledge of design standards and permitting
  • Knowledge of Colorado funding programs

Physical Qualifications

  • Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
  • Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
  • May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
  • Occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
  • May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
