Water / Wastewater Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Planning, development, implementation, and evaluation with the management of a wide variety of projects
• Maintaining the progress, mutual interaction, and tasks of various parties to reduce risk, maximize benefits, and minimize costs
• Preparing preliminary engineering reports, feasibility studies, master plans, environmental information documents, and project performance work plans and reports
• Preparing NPDES, ARDOT, ADEQ, and various railroad and other permits
• Conducting pre-construction meetings, pre-bid meetings, periodic construction meetings, preparing contractor pay requests
• Managing CAD, surveying, clerical, and other support staff to ensure adherence to standards and project delivery on schedule and within budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field from an ABET accredited college
• Arkansas P.E. licensure
• Knowledge of ADEQ and ADH regulations, policies, and procedures
• Thorough understanding of water and wastewater system infrastructure design
• Initiative, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication, writing, technical, and analytical skills
• Ability to interact with private and municipal clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCad software suite, with an emphasis on Civil 3D

Preferred

• 5 years of design experience

Travel

Most travel is limited to short or day trips to visit jobsites, meet clients, etc. Overnight trips are generally not required.
