What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Professional Engineer, you'll apply engineering principles and technical expertise to the design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You’ll take ownership of specific design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that all work meets technical standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations while continuing to develop your professional engineering judgment and leadership skills.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical documentation for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
  • Apply engineering standards and design codes to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system evaluations to support design and planning decisions.
  • Cookordination design efforts across internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support project managers with technical input, cost estimating, and quality control reviews throughout project development.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D software is a plus but not required.
