Water/Wastewater Engineering Internship

About the role

Hazen is seeking an intern in their Cincinnati office. Projects include water-related assignments such as drinking water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, sewer and stormwater collection systems, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with experienced engineering team providing mentoring opportunities
• Sit on a project team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction
• Affiliate in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, hydraulics, and design reports
• Manage data for process modeling and design
• Cook with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
• Participate in fieldwork and local site visits

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in group settings
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
