This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy. HDR Engineering is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing NTX/OK/AR team. The primary duties of the Water/Wastewater Engineer include but are not limited to planning, directing and monitoring technical aspects of pump station, pipeline, drinking water, and wastewater design projects which contain a high degree of technical complexity. In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineer, we'll count on you to: Take responsibility for performing complex assignments, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and proceduresMake decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as neededInvolved with client relationshipsFunction as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as neededMay be involved with coordinating staffing and workload of staff through the entire project development to complete documents on scheduleMay supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as neededResponsible for implementing QA/QC procedures and for the execution of training for personnel as establishedParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliancePerform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications MS A minimum of 5 years' experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldPrevious experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
