Water/Wastewater Designer

As a Water/Wastewater Designer, you'll support meaningful projects while learning from experienced engineers committed to your development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems
• Prepare drawings, models, calculations, and technical deliverables using AutoCAD and design tools
• Support senior engineers with hydraulic modeling, alternatives analysis, and technical evaluations
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction observation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and deliver quality projects
• Engage in structured training, mentorship, and hands-on learning across project phases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or closely related field)
• 2-5 years of engineering or design experience
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Interest in water/wastewater treatment and conveyance systems
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D (preferred, not required)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

Pay

Salary Range: $70,000 - $89,000 per year. The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
