Water Utility Technician - Water Treatment Plant

Role Summary

To operate, maintain, inspect, install and repair water treatment and waste water treatment facilities and associated collection and distribution equipment, systems and components.

Schedule

• Rotating schedule providing experience in both Maintenance and Operations
• Maintenance Rotation: 5 weeks on daytime schedule, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
• Operations Rotation: Rotating shifts - 1 week: 7am-3pm; 1 week: 3pm-11pm; 1 week: 11pm-7am
• Some weekend work required; when scheduled, weekend shifts are 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday, with two 8-hour shifts during the week

Training and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• Mechanical Aptitude

Licensing Requirements

• Valid driver's license

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate: $24.07. After hire, pay increases are dependent on length of service, advancement in the position, and other contractual factors.
