About the role

Hunter Contracting, specializing in civil infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to operate a tank truck to transport, pump, and apply water to and from areas on the jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Loads and navigates water truck; delivers and applies water to specified destination(s).
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Performs DOT Daily Inspection to include inspecting tires, lights, brakes, fuses, and fluid levels.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
• Takes pride in craftsmanship, works within precise standards of accuracy.
• Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines.
• Practices good safety habits.

Requirements

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions.
• Five (5) + years of experience in operation of power construction equipment; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must have a current Medical DOT Health Card.
• Clean MVR record and Dust Control Card.
