Water Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport water to construction sites and other designated areas using the Water Truck.
• Responsible for truck inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Properly prepare equipment and worksite daily.
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations and demonstrate clear driving judgement.
• Effectively communicate with Supervisors and Foremen to ensure all tasks are performed safely.
• Complete and verify all necessary paperwork for accuracy.
• Use appropriate PPE.
• Work in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity and exposure to dust and asphalt.

Qualifications

• Must possess a clean Class ‘B’ CDL license with Tanker Endorsement for 2+ years.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
• Out-of-town travel and/or overtime possible.
• Must be physically able to enter confined spaces such as manholes and must be able to successfully complete/pass confined space entry training.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
